DVA organizes international policy trips to countries that have developed interesting programs in the field of active employment market policy. The self-perception of program components, trainings, placements, etc. – and direct contacts with practitioners and managers is very informative and inspiring. It allows participants to test their own experiences and assumptions.
Our destinations are Work First and training programs in the United States (especially New York and Wisconsin), Australia, Denmark, Norway and Sweden. The policy trips are designed for managers and policy makers from all sectors of the active employment market (ministries, municipalities, Jobcenters, (regional) training- and reintegration companies, etc.). There is plenty of space for informal contacts with other participants, to strengthen your personal network. All tours are very well prepared in content and organization and have all-in costs (including stay in comfortable yet affordable hotels).
